I know an antique collector who let me take photos of some of his displays one day. He seemed to be perplexed by some of the photos I was taking because I wasn’t showcasing what he thought were the highlights of his collection. After several hours of crawling around the floor in unnatural positions, trying to catch just the right angle with just the right light, he came to appreciate what I was seeing.
